More than 8,000 acres of scrub, sandhill and flatwoods on the Lake Wales Ridge, with about 6 miles of hiking trails and 7 miles of equestrian trails. Primitive camping is $5 per night (Florida State Parks); bring plenty of water for the rugged scrub trails.
