Pinellas County's 236-site family campground in Fort De Soto Park, which has over 7 miles of waterfront and almost three miles of beach. Every site has water and 30/50-amp electric, a picnic table and a charcoal grill; sites 1–85 are for tents, vans, pop-ups and trailers shorter than 16 ft, and sites 86–236 take all camping units. Pets are allowed only in sites 86–164. The campground has restrooms with showers, dump stations, laundry and a camp store. Reservations open six months ahead (seven for Pinellas County residents), with a 14-night limit in any 30 days.
